They leak. Semi-open cups let the headphone mix escape into an open mic, and it lands in the take. Fine for quiet monitoring at low levels, not ideal for close-mic'd vocals.
02Do I need a headphone amp?
No. At 55 ohms they run from an audio interface, mixer or laptop output. A dedicated amp adds headroom but isn't required to reach usable volume.
03Do these block outside noise?
No. The semi-open design is deliberately not sealed, so room noise comes in and your audio goes out. Use them somewhere quiet.
04Can I replace the cable?
