Audio-TechnicaATH-AL5NC Wireless Open-Back Headphones - Black

Open-back listening no longer has to mean staying tethered to your desk. The Audio-Technica ATH-AL5NC open-back wireless headphones combine the spacious, natural presentation of an open-back design with Bluetooth freedom, giving hi-fi listeners, gamers and remote workers room to move without giving up an expansive listening experience. Specially designed 53 mm dynamic drivers produce a wide, detailed soundstage, while support for LDAC, AAC and SBC enables high-resolution wireless audio up to 24-bit/96kHz with compatible sources. At just 8.4 oz, the airy housings also reduce heat buildup and clamping pressure for comfortable extended listening, while up to 75 hours of battery life keeps music, meetings and entertainment going across multiple days. 53 mm Drivers Deliver Spacious Open-Back Sound Large 53 mm dynamic drivers work with the open housings to create a broad, natural presentation that helps music feel less confined inside the headphones. The open construction also maintains greater awareness of the surrounding environment, making it well suited to home listening and workspaces where complete acoustic isolation isn't always desirable. When outside distractions such as HVAC systems or traffic become intrusive, a dedicated noise-reduction function can help minimize ambient noise in both wireless and wired operation, while Sound Leakage Prevention mode provides another option when listening around other people. Wireless Features Adapt to Work Gaming and Entertainment Multipoint Bluetooth pairing allows the headphones to remain connected to two devices simultaneously, making it easier to move between a computer and smartphone without repeatedly pairing. For gaming and video, Low Latency mode improves synchronization between picture and sound, while the built-in microphone supports virtual meetings, calls and in-game communication. The Audio-Technica CONNECT app extends control with adjustable EQ, presets, codec selection, a headphone-locating function and Soundscape mode, which can play nature sounds, masking noise or meditation-oriented audio depending on how you want to use your listening time. Long Battery Life Supports All-Day Listening Battery life reaches up to 75 hours with noise reduction disabled, while enabling the function still provides up to 50 hours of continuous playback. A 15-minute quick charge supplies up to eight additional hours of listening without noise reduction or five hours with it enabled, helping keep downtime to a minimum. When a wired connection makes more sense, the included 3.9' cable adds a 3.5 mm stereo mini plug plus an in-line microphone and controls. Fold-flat earcups and an included carrying pouch round out the design, giving the ATH-AL5NC headphones a practical combination of open-back sound, wireless convenience and extended comfort for listening, work and play.
