Same 17.50mm cup and 4.60mm throat. The 5N has a much narrower 3.90mm rim, which trades some comfort for flexibility and a smoother, richer sound.

Yes. The 5 is aimed at beginners and at 1st or 3rd part players, with a standard rim and a shaped funnel cup — a conventional setup to build on.
03Does gold plating actually change the sound?
