The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 G2 portable column PA system builds on the acclaimed EVOLVE series with increased output, improved portability and expanded digital mixing capabilities for DJs, bands and live sound professionals. Eight 3.5" neodymium column drivers deliver consistent 120° horizontal by 40° vertical coverage, while a 12" subwoofer provides bass extension down to 37Hz. A 1500W amplifier produces up to 129dB maximum SPL for live performances, presentations and events. Enhanced DSP processing, switchable 48V phantom power and flexible input options accommodate microphones and playback devices. With QuickSmart Link connectivity, Bluetooth true wireless stereo streaming, a color LCD and QuickSmart Mobile app control, the EVOLVE 50 G2 brings flexible sound management to a portable column system. Eight Neodymium Drivers Provide Wide, Consistent Sound Coverage The EVOLVE 50 G2 combines eight 3.5" neodymium drivers in an array-formed column with a 12" low-frequency driver for full-range sound reproduction. Its 120° x 40° coverage pattern distributes sound across the listening area, while the subwoofer's laminar flow vent design supports efficient bass output. A 1500W amplifier supplies 750W each to the low- and high-frequency sections, producing up to 129dB maximum SPL with a frequency response of 43Hz–20kHz (±3dB). With up to 2dB more maximum output than the previous generation, the system provides additional headroom for live music, DJ performances and spoken-word applications. Enhanced QuickSmart DSP Offers Flexible Mixing and Control The onboard mixer provides connectivity for performers managing multiple audio sources without a separate mixing console. Two XLR/TRS combo microphone and line inputs with switchable 48V phantom power accommodate compatible microphones and audio equipment, while additional stereo inputs include RCA, 3.5 mm and Bluetooth streaming. Enhanced DSP processing adds music ducking and expanded effects options for managing live sound. The color LCD provides direct access to mixer and system settings, while the QuickSmart Mobile app enables wireless adjustments from compatible devices. QuickSmart Link allows two EVOLVE 50 G2 systems to share audio and control, expanding available mixer inputs. Bluetooth true wireless stereo functionality also supports stereo playback between compatible systems. Three-Piece Construction Supports Fast Setup and Easy Transport The EVOLVE 50 G2 features a three-piece design consisting of a subwoofer, aluminum pole and column array for straightforward assembly without complicated rigging or extensive cabling. Updated ergonomic side handles and a new top handle simplify lifting and transportation between venues. The subwoofer features a plywood enclosure with a protective polyurea coating, complemented by a composite column housing and powder-coated steel grilles. Weighing 55.8 lb. as a complete system, the EVOLVE 50 G2 maintains a compact footprint while providing substantial output. A carrying bag for the column and pole is included, with padded subwoofer covers and rolling transport cases available separately.
