No. It's a cornet mouthpiece with a cornet shank, which is smaller than a trumpet receiver. It won't seat properly and you'd damage the receiver forcing it.
02What's the difference between the 2B and the 2?
Both share the 17mm cup and 4.92mm rim. The 2 has an open backbore and 4.572mm throat; the 2B uses a V backbore and tighter 4.27mm throat.
03Is the 2B good for high notes?
The V backbore and narrow throat are built for high-register clarity. That said, the 17mm cup is the widest offered here, so endurance is the limiting factor.
04Should I get the 2BW instead?
