FenderCoastline '63 Telecaster Single-Coil Pickup Set - Black and Chrome

Inspired by the unmistakable voice of an early-'60s Telecaster, the Fender Coastline '63 Telecaster pickup set takes a more assertive approach to classic Fender tone. Rather than simply recreating a vintage pickup, Fender subtly refined the formula with a carefully voiced overwind that adds greater warmth, focus and punch while preserving the snap, clarity and dynamic response that have made the Telecaster a favorite for generations. Built around Alnico V magnets and vintage-inspired construction, the Coastline '63 set delivers the familiar bite and twang players expect with a richer, more confident voice that excels across everything from clean country picking to driven rock rhythms. Slightly Overwound Design for Fuller Telecaster Tone Rather than dramatically increasing output, the Coastline '63 pickups build on Fender's proven Pure Vintage foundation with a carefully calibrated overwind and enamel-coated magnet wire to produce stronger mids, fuller note fundamentals and a more substantial overall voice. Alnico V beveled magnets and staggered pole pieces maintain balanced response across every string, preserving the attack and articulation that define great Telecaster pickups. Traditional fiber bobbins and period-correct cloth-covered lead wire reinforce the Coastline '63 Tele pickups' vintage-inspired construction, while wax-potted construction provides dependable performance without compromising their lively single-coil character.
