The American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass brings together an alder solid body, maple bolt-on 1966 U neck and bound, round-laminated rosewood fingerboard in a mid-’60s-focused configuration. Its two passive Pure Vintage ’66 single-coil Jazz Bass pickups have individual volume controls plus a master tone. That arrangement permits blends ranging from both pickups together to a more bridge-led setting. A 1.5-inch bone nut, 7.25-inch radius and 20 vintage-tall frets define the neck layout, while the Olympic White finish, painted headstock and four-ply tortoiseshell guard provide the visual appointments.
