No. The shank is tapered for a cornet receiver. Schilke uses the same cup numbering on their trumpet mouthpieces, so look for the trumpet version.
03Is this too big for a student?
It's medium-large. A student on something small may find the rim wide at first. The 15 is a slightly smaller all-around option.
04Does the number 2 rim hurt endurance?
