Same 1.010-inch diameter and J throat. The 51C4 has a slightly shallower cup and the number 4 semi-flat rim, so it responds a bit quicker and is easier on the lip.
02Will this fit a large bore trombone?
Only if that horn's receiver is small shank. Many large-bore tenors use a large shank, in which case you need the large-shank version, not an adapter jammed in.
03Is the 51C4 a good euphonium mouthpiece?
It's aimed at tenor trombone. The deep D-cup models such as the 51D and 52D are the euphonium picks, and euphonium receivers often call for a different shank anyway.
