01Will this fit my Bb trumpet?
Yes. It is a standard trumpet shank and drops into a normal Bb trumpet receiver. It will not seat correctly in a cornet or flugelhorn.
02What is the difference between the M1 and the M1D?
Same 24 throat, but the M1D uses a standard bowl cup with a tighter Schmidt backbore. The M1 has the larger backbore and shorter throat, so it blows more openly.
03How does the M1 compare to the M1C?
The M1C has a tighter 27 throat, a C cup, and the Schilke C backbore — a more compact, balanced feel with noticeably more resistance than the M1.
04Is this a good first mouthpiece?
